Our Spirituality Centre was founded in the Benedictine traditions of hospitality, mutual respect and a search for God, and we now embrace all aspects of Christian spirituality.

In the confusion of our everyday life we need moments to pause and listen to the gentle voice of God, and in doing so find ourselves too.  We offer the opportunity for people to step aside from their everyday lives to encounter God in prayer, reflection and listening. By doing so we hope to empower people from various backgrounds and faith communities, and enable them to come to appreciate the presence of God in their everyday lives.

Sometimes it’s good to leave the crowd –
To wrap yourself in the cloak of quietness –
To sit alone and reacquaint yourself with your dreams 

Seminars, retreat days, personal reflection

Our  programme of evening and day courses offers opportunities to learn and share with others.  If you wish to spend a day in personal prayer and quiet contemplation, we can provide spiritual direction. We can cater for individuals and groups in simple, comfortable surroundings for day retreats.

The Spirituality Centre is part of the parish church of Christ The King, which is under the care of the Chemin Neuf community.  You are warmly invited to celebrate Mass. We are well situated on the edge of countryside with the 600 acre Trent Country Park nearby for walks and relaxation.
